We are the controller of the personal data described below.
2. What data we collect and why
Contact form. When you send us a message, we receive the information you type into the form: your name, your email address and your message. We use it only to read and answer your enquiry and to follow up on it.
Server logs. Our web hosting provider records technical data when you visit the site, such as your IP address, the pages requested, date and time, and browser type. This is used to run, secure and troubleshoot the website.
Cookies. This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and does not load content from third-party servers.
3. Legal basis
- Contact form: taking steps at your request before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- Server logs: our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the website.
4. Who receives your data
We do not sell your data. It is handled only by the providers that make the site and our email work, acting on our behalf:
- Web hosting: Romarg (Romania), which hosts this website and its server logs.
- Email: Microsoft 365, through which messages from the contact form are delivered to our mailbox.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries sent through the form are kept for 24 months after our last exchange with you, unless a business relationship starts, in which case the records follow the retention rules that apply to that relationship. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider as per their policy.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, or its use restricted;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable.
To use any of these rights, write to office@5tream.ro. We will answer within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data-protection authority: Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS, and messages from the form are sent directly to our mailbox. We do not store form submissions on the website itself.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
